Boroondara Eisteddfod
The annual Boroondara Eisteddfod is a competition for musicians, vocalists and speech and drama students.
The Eisteddfod runs from April to June and provides a forum for musicians, vocalists and speech and drama students to test their talents and provides them with the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. Entrants range from across different levels of skill and experience, from primary school students to young adult virtuosos.
Each year prize winners are sought in sections including vocal, piano, strings, woodwind, brass, choral, chamber ensembles and speech and drama. Prizes are awarded by adjudicators at the end of each session. Contestants are also provided with a critique of their individual performance.
